Erdem Bree embellished fil coupé dress White Women Clothing, Dresses, Midi, Cocktail Erdem
's Spring '17 collection tells the story of Jean Ker, Countess of Roxburghe - lady in waiting to the Queen of England, whose gowns were shipwrecked in 1642. Meticulously made from wispy fil coupé and embroidered with blue flowers, this 'Bree' dress has puffed sleeves and an elegant off-the-shoulder neckline, held in place by black grosgrain ribbons. It's adorned with light-catching crystals and faux pearls, inspired by the belief that the Countess was on a secret mission to sell the Crown Jewels.
